Black Forest cake combines rich chocolate cake layers with fresh cherries, cherry liqueur and a simple whipped cream frosting. A Black Forest martini’s main ingredients are vodka mixed with cherry and chocolate liqueurs. This chic cake is not cloyingly sweet but very balanced between tart and bitter. If you have time to dress this cake up a bit, we strongly recommend topping it with whipped cream and grating a bit of chocolate on top for garnish.

SPRINKLES INGREDIENTS: Icing sugar, fractionated palm kernel oil, corn starch, glucose, soya lecithin, gum arabic, carnauba wax, hpmc, modified corn starch, artificial colors (fd&c: red 3, red 40, blue 1, yellow 5, yellow 6, titanium dioxide).
