My name is Selva Sonali and I’m a curious designer with a sweet tooth. Since I was a kid, I’ve had a soft spot for Roald Dahl’s books, and my most favourite was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I always knew creativity and art were for me. Plus, I love to eat—who doesn’t?

 Like most of you, I’m a home cook. But my solid understanding of baking science has helped me create scrumptious, simple, easy-to-whip-up treats with a designer’s touch. Sharing what I make and connecting with others is what keeps me cheerful and packed with energy

 In 2015, I started writing down recipes for this cookbook project. As I continued to fine-tune my book in 2017, I joined Instagram and began to share my donut creations. 7 years later, now the design and recipes in the book is complete and will be released in the fall of 2020. I can’t believe 6 years of work have been put into this tasty book, and I am so excited to share my vision of design combined with food science and a touch of sweetness.
