Tellement riche, tellement fondant, c’est presque magique.

Ne vous laissez pas tromper par sa saveur décadente — ce gâteau fait bien plus en coulisses. Avec une mie super moelleuse et une texture fondante (mais étonnamment légère), c’est le rêve des amateurs de chocolat. Mais voici la partie folle : il est composé de plus de 10 légumes différents. Imaginez une salade sous forme de gâteau. Oui, on est allés jusque-là.

Comment le préparer

You’ll need
3/4 cup plant-based or dairy milk
1/4 cup oil


What to do
Preheat oven to 350°F. Whisk milk, oil and Iconicake's Berry Red Velvet cake mix. Mix until combined. Pour batter into 6 greased or lined muffin tins or 7” cake pan. Bake for 17-20 minutes. Cool 10 minutes or at least 30 minutes before frosting. Enjoy!


Want something extra?

  • Toss in 1/4 cup of raspberries for a delightful contrast
  • Stir in 1/4 cup chocolate chips before baking
  • Swirl in 2 tablespoons of peanut butter before baking
  • Add 1 teaspoon of espresso powder for deeper flavour
  • Replace 1/4 cup of milk with raspberry jam before baking

    Super yummmmy!

    Incredibly moist and rich in chocolate flavor. I love the clean ingredients and how easy it is to whip up for a quick dessert. It’s especially amazing served warm straight from the oven with homemade coconut whipped cream on top to keep it completely vegan.

    Amazing

    My daughter made these since I hate baking and I was in complete shock in terms of how good it tasted. I could slightly taste the earthiness but it only added more character to the cake.
