How to make it

You’ll need
¾ cup plant-based or dairy milk
¼ cup oil


What to do
Preheat oven to 350°F. Whisk milk, oil and Iconicake's Berry Red Velvet cake mix. Mix until combined. Pour batter into 6 greased or lined muffin tins or 7” cake pan. Bake for 17-20 minutes. Cool 10 minutes or at least 30 minutes before frosting. Enjoy!


Need to crush that sweet craving ASAP?
Add 3 tablespoons of cake mix to a mug, then add 2 tablespoons of any milk and 2 teaspoons of oil. Mix well until smooth. Microwave for 50–60 seconds. Let it cool slightly, then enjoy straight from the cup!


Want something extra?

  • Toss in ¼ cup of raspberries for a delightful contrast
  • Stir in ¼ cup chocolate chips before baking
  • Swirl in 2 tablespoons of peanut butter before baking
  • Add 1 teaspoon of espresso powder for deeper flavour

    Extra chocolatey not too sweet

    I am not even playing that this cake is sooooo good. Too good! I ate most of it and I honestly do not like chocolate cake. This is a keeper for sure. If you like sugary stuff - don’t get this, it’s not super sweet but reminds me of semi-sweet chocolate flavour which is just sweet enough.

    I made this for a get together a they were all gone so fast. Probably the best flavour out of all cake mixes, but then it’s chocolate! How can yo go wrong with chocolate!!
